The Writers’ Room at the O’Bryant is run by 826 Boston, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. Our team of 826 Boston staff and Northeastern University’s student tutors are on site at the O’Bryant High School in room 2-109 every Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to provide free writing services. From brainstorming to revising final drafts, we’re here to help! In addition to our in-school support, we also run after school clubs, including literary magazine club (called Rubix), Slam Poetry club and Journalism club.
We are equipped with 30 chromebooks, a printer, lounge area and SNACKS!
