NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month a.k.a. a really great excuse to challenge yourself to write your heart out for a month with help from an awesome group of tutors and fellow students. Our NaNoWriMo group will meet for seven sessions on Tuesdays, from 2-3 p.m., beginning October 22nd in Room 2-109 (The Writer’s Room). Plan to share your stories, track your word count, and support each other to write an entire novel in 30 days. That’s right. One month.
The ultimate goal is to write a 50,000 word novel from scratch, however, students set their own goals. For anyone who has ever considered writing a novel or just wants to try it out, this is the perfect opportunity!
